Subject: Argentina strawbale

Dear Stefan,
Funny you should ask. As you were writing, I was in Argentina introducing
straw-bale construction to two local architects in San Miguel de Tucuman.
In a project funded by the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, we
designed a small clinic and teaching facility for a rural camp 130km north
of Tucuman. In April I will present a hands-on workshop for 40 building
professionals (builders, architects and engineers) from Argentina, Peru,
Chile and Bolivia. I believe the workshop is all full up, but after April,
there will be at least baseline information about straw-bale in Argentina.
Also Joe Kennedy, a natural builder is in Argentina now, teaching in an
eco-village - I'm not sure exactly where. Good luck!
