Subject: Details of SB Constructon - TLS#55

Hello everyone,

There is a great deal of interest from callers here at the TLS office and
from TLS readers about the details of straw-bale construction - showing
interior wall connections to bale walls, attaching floor joists over
basements and connections between basement and first floor, other
connections, and for wall systems.

We would like to include articles about this along with cross section
drawings and details in the Fall 2006 issue of TLS. If you would like to
contribute an article (long or short) with drawings or photographs about any
aspect of sb construction showing joinery and connections, wall systems, or
other aspects of construction, please do so. Always like to have Tech Tips
related to the focus of the issue, too.

Planning to include this for the #55/Fall 2006 - Strawbale Details
Details on joining walls (interior and exterior), flooring over basement,
box column construction method, and more...plus more natural materials and
Deadline - June 15
