Duncan,

As far as I know there is no SB organisation in Turkey. I have met
Demet Irkli and her husband who is also an architect and professor.
They are both very strong advocates of sustainable building in Turkey.
Harald Wedig built a SB building, Demet was also involved. The building
can be seen on my web-site at www.strobouw.nl

G 'day Duncan

I have a friend in Turkey called Bora Topluoglu from Tasburum in Turkey.
Bora came to a workshop in Ganmain and went back to Turkey and built a straw
bale house there see The last Straw issue # 38 page 27.

The last email I had for Bora was:

boratopluoglu@...

He has a sister in Melbourne and is a dual Turk Aussie.

Kind regards
