GSBN:Re: GSBN:Borax fireproofing?

<x-charset koi8-r>Hello,Mark

cheapest and simplest way - clay milk: just put bale in clay milk for a few second and dry it. Boraxed bales are not healthy, espasially for kids.

Subject: GSBN:Borax fireproofing?

> Greetings All,
> COSBA has been asked to provided some 'fireproofed' bales for seating at a childrens event here in Boulder. The city requires they be fireproofed. They will actually be spread out in a grassy lawn and present little fire hazard but the city is worried about some subversive type igniting them, I guess. TLS has several mentions of Boraxed bales but no mention of mix ratio or penetration required. Any experience with this by anyone?
