Dear Andre,

I got in contact with a project of VALENCIA, Spain called ECO-RICE. I suppose
that the project is similar what you're doing in France: Searching
alternatives of the burning of rice. We put ECO-Rice in contact with a huge
project that will be build in World Exposition 2008 in Zaragoza. We're not
participating there, but perhaps your friend is interested in contact with
ECO-RICE.
The phone-number is 961610021...I don't remember the name of the person,
sorry.

Subject: rice straw

I have a question about rice-straw too.

I worked with rice straw for the first time last week, and was surprise,
because the bales seemed well compressed, but weighed much less than a wheat
straw bale of similar compression. Is this normal? Is it the moisture
content which would be lower, or is it because of the type of straw?

Subject: Expo Zaragoza, 2008

Just to add to Maren's coment...that project we talked about months ago: a
1500m2 (35m diameter, 28 meters high round, dome-like structure) Pavillion
for the World Expo in Zaragoza (summer 2008) made of straw, bamboo, wood,
and clay (with eco climitization) has been approved. It will be built
between oct.-March.

Maren and I are no longer involved in the project, but will try to keep
everyone informed as to the progress of the building.

It will give world-wide exposure for Straw Bale and Clay.

Sincerely,

Rikki Nitzkin
